About us
A W6 firm that works a patch it knows, says where that patch ends, and does not pretend to be the only one in it.
What we are
A removals firm working Hammersmith and the west London edges around it. Houses, flats and mansion flats, riverside moves, man and van, packing, containerised storage, and a European arm covering four destinations.
Our own crews and our own vehicles. Not a national brand with a local landing page, and not a booking platform passing your job to whoever picked up.
About the other Hammersmith firm
There are two Hammersmith removals domains on this network: this one and hammersmith-removals.uk, the hyphenated one. Same district, different crews, different approach, and we would rather say so on the About page than let you find out from a coincidence of phone numbers.
If you have already had a survey from them, take their quote. Two proposals from the same family of firms wastes an afternoon and tells you nothing.
How we price
Measured volume, access at both ends, how much packing you want done, and distance. Not how urgent it sounds on the phone, not the season, and not what somebody else quoted.
The survey is free and carries no obligation. A video call covers most W6 addresses; mansion flats, riverside blocks and anything with a difficult stair are worth an in-person look. The number that comes back is in writing and it holds unless what is coming changes.
The things we will tell you
That the stair and the street decide a Hammersmith move, not the bedroom count.
That the permit wants notice, and that the notice period is the commonest reason a moving day starts badly.
That your job is really a man and van, when it is — even though the removal would have been the larger invoice.
That a gig night at the Apollo is a real planning factor rather than a colourful detail.
And that for a genuinely London-wide move you are better served by our pan-London sister sites than by us stretching.
The European side
Four destinations rather than a brochure list. France, Spain, Italy and Portugal — enough volume on each that the customs process is familiar rather than looked up when the vehicle is already loaded.
The file is built from the survey inventory. Where a document has to come from you — an NIE, a codice fiscale, a certificado de bagagem — we say so at the start, because those are exactly the parts that cannot be accelerated.
Insurance and conditions
Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we confirm in writing what applies before you book.
The full terms are on the terms page rather than buried in a footnote on the quote.
What we do not do
We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.
Cover
Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies. The contractual position is on the terms page.
Getting hold of us
The quote form is quickest. Contact has the rest, questions covers what comes up first, and areas we cover shows exactly where our ground runs out.
Tell us about the move
Both addresses, the floor at each end, and roughly what is coming. We will survey, check the access and come back with a written quote.
